Create your BotDesk account, fill in your business details (services, hours, pricing, FAQs), and BotDesk generates a single embed snippet tied to your account.

⚠️ Don't type this by hand — copy the full snippet from your BotDesk dashboard (Install tab). It includes your real API key plus your bot's name, color, and business info.
Open your site in the GoDaddy Website Builder editor. Click Add Section, search for HTML (the custom-code / embed block), and add it to the page. Paste your BotDesk snippet into the code box. Repeat on any page you want the bot on. Note: the free "Starter" plan restricts custom code — if there's no HTML option, you'll need a paid plan, or ask GoDaddy support to add site-wide footer code.
If your GoDaddy site is plain HTML files (via File Manager or FTP), open each page's HTML and paste the snippet just before the closing </body> tag — or add it once to a shared footer include so it loads everywhere.
Publish your GoDaddy site and reload it — the BotDesk chat bubble appears in the bottom-right corner. Back in your dashboard's Install tab, type your site's address and hit "Check if it's live" to confirm.
